Zumikon, December 13, 2017 (Ambition AG) – New 5G mobile communications standard poses potential risks to health and the environment: International scientists issue an appeal! The new 5G mobile communications standard has prompted an appeal to the EU from international scientists from more than 30 countries. Led by Rainer Nyberg of Finland and Lennart Hardell of Sweden, they unanimously warn of the potential risks and serious health impacts of the still largely unexplored G5 mobile communications standard, which is leading to a massive increase in forced exposure to wireless communication.
Excerpt from the appeal: "We urge the EU to take all reasonable measures to stop the spread of 5G's radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) until independent scientists can ensure that 5G and the overall radiation intensities generated by RF-EMF (5G together with GSM, UMTS, LTE, and Wi-Fi) are not harmful to EU citizens, especially to infants, children, and pregnant women, as well as to the environment..."
…Immediately, without industry influence, appoint an EU working group of independent, truly impartial scientists on EMF and health without conflicts of interest to assess the health risks and decide on new, safe “maximum total exposure limits” for all wireless communications within the EU…
… 5G technology only works over short distances. Signals are poorly transmitted through solid materials. Many new antennas will be needed, and full-scale deployment will result in antennas spaced every 10 to 12 houses in urban areas. Therefore, forced exposure will be greatly increased.
… With “ the ever-increasing use of wireless technologies No one can avoid exposure. In addition to the increased number of 5G base stations (even inside homes, shops, and hospitals), it is estimated that "10 to 20 billion wireless connections" (from refrigerators, washing machines, surveillance cameras, self-driving cars and buses, etc.) will be part of the Internet of Things. All of this together can lead to an exponential increase in the total long-term exposure of all EU citizens to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF). Harmful effects on humans and the environment of RF-EMF have already been proven." (Source: German translation of diagnosis:radio )
