The author
Tijn Touber (born 1960) is a Dutch musician, meditation teacher, and author. He enjoyed international success in the 1980s with his pop band Loïs Lane. His current music is more inspired by meditation and silence.
Tijn is the founder of the international meditation network "Cities of Light" and the author of several nonfiction books (in Dutch) on the art of meditation and enlightenment. In recent years, he has led meditation trainings with a wide variety of groups, including businesspeople, doctors, nurses, military personnel, police officers, prison inmates, drug addicts, schoolchildren, and music festival attendees.
He lives in Amsterdam with his partner Binkie, with whom he organizes various events and retreats. He has just published his first novel, "Time Bender."
